Wine has always been an important part of Greek dining culture and at Let’s Do Greek, our wine collection has been carefully curated to reflect that same experience, offering guests the opportunity to discover authentic Greek wines rarely found elsewhere in Mackay.

Our wine bar showcases an extensive range of Greek wines imported and sourced directly from family-owned vineyards across Greece, with many of these wineries producing wine for generations.

While many restaurants offer only a small number of Greek labels, our collection (the largest) features a wide variety that celebrates the unique regions and flavours of Greek winemaking. Each bottle is chosen to pair beautifully with the menu, from our fresh seafood and traditional Greek dishes to premium steak selections.

From crisp whites and vibrant rosés through to rich reds full of depth and complexity, our wines have been selected to pair beautifully with traditional meze, fresh seafood, slow cooked lamb and classic Greek dishes. Whether you are enjoying a glass with someone special on date night, sharing a bottle over dinner with friends, saying ‘cheers’ to a celebration, our Greek wines bring an authentic taste of Greece to the table.

Profile: A modern take on traditional Greek wine from Savatiano grape variety, with bright notes of mint, peach, & a hint of pine resin. A superb match for tapas, finger food & meze.

Profile: A combination of traditional and modern winemaking methods is applied to release the full aromatic and taste potential of the Moschofilero. The scent of quince, dried apricots and red apples are followed by a crisp acidity and a citrus peel aftertaste. Tomh rosé is an excellent accompaniment to dishes based on pasta with tomato, fish, and dishes combining sweet and sour flavours.

Profile: The careful choice and blending of the aromatic Moschofilero grape from the Mantinia plateau and the versatile Agiorgitiko variety from the mountainous Corinthian hills produces a harmonious rosé wine with aromatic complexity wavering between rose, cherry and notes of strawberry. Excellent accompaniment to dishes based on tomato, and seafood.

Profile: This Savatiano shows the special attributes of old bush vines grown in the limestone soils of Attica. Aromas of lemon blossom, basil, & flint & a palate of lush stone fruits, balanced by refreshing minerality and acidity. Pairs well with seafood, poultry, or white meats.

Profile: Low-temperature fermentation preserves the delicate, vibrant character of the Moschofilero grape. The result is an intensely floral wine, perfumed with night- blooming jasmine, rose, and bright citrus fruits. It’s excellent aroma and sharp taste make it a wine that can be enjoyed with pastas, poultry, and seafoods.

Profile: Intensively floral, pomegranate, watermelon rind and ginger come forward followed by a quince jam flavour. Slightly tannic taste with balanced acidity. Its complexed and full taste makes it capable to accompany a wide range of food like pasta with tomato sauce, grilled squid or even grilled beef.

Profile: Crafted from Agiorgitiko grapes grown in the Nemean hills, this vibrant purple-red wine features fragrant notes of gooseberry and pomegranate. It is supple and spicy on the palate, offering velvety tannins with a smooth finish of butter caramel. Served best with tomato bases and grilled meats.

Profile: Pale lemon, with a tight nose that reflects the unique terroir. Mineral, salty, smoky, around a core of stonefruit. Its sharp acidity is balanced nicely by the oily texture. Structured and powerful, has impressive definition and many layers on the palate. Long aftertaste. An impressive wine that can age for 6-10 years.
